Why do we get dry skin?

Dry skin is a common phenomenon and can occur anywhere on the body. Exactly why the skin goes dry varies from one person to the next. Contributing factors include external influences such as sunlight, heat, cold and dry air, as well as inadequate skincare using strong, dehydrating soaps. But the skin is also affected by internal factors such as heredity, hormonal effects (for example when pregnant or in menopause) and age.

Ingredients that get the job done

Aloe Propolis Creme is ideal for dry skin anywhere on the body. The creamy formula is based on our own, high-quality Aloe vera. Ingredients also include propolis and chamomile which are known for their skin conditioning properties, and allantoin which also soothes and protects. Last but not least there’s vitamin E, which also take care of your skin.

What is propolis?

Propolis is also sometimes known as bee glue. It is a genuine bee product, an ingredient made by bees to use as a protective sealant in the nest. The raw material for the bees’ production of propolis is resin from coniferous trees and certain deciduous trees. For us humans, propolis is a popular ingredient in skincare products and dietary supplements.
